Study on Relationship between Meteorological Factors and Sowing Date Affecting Rice Grain Filling
In order to explore the appropriate sowing date of rice in the northeast region, the rice variety Tonghe 822 was used as the test material, and six sowing treatments, such as April 10(S1),April 20(S2),April 30(S3),May 10(S4),May 20(S5)and May 30(S6)were set up.The relationship among meteorological factors, yield components and grain filling characteristics after full heading was studied. The results showed that:(1)When the sowing date delayed from April 10 to May 30,the growth process of rice was accelerated, the growth period was shortened, and the thousand-grain weight was significantly reduced. The yield reduction was mainly caused by the fruiting rate and thousand-grain weight, while the causes of the reduction in fruiting rate and thousand-grain weight were mainly related to the active grouting period, maximum grouting rate and average grouting rate, and the leaping grouting period and the grouting rate were significantly affected by the effective cumulative temperature after the spikelet flushes, the maximum daily temperature and the amount of rainfall.(2)Within the experimental range, the fruiting rate,thousand-grain weight, and maximum grouting rate increased with the increase of effective cumulative temperature and daily maximum temperature.(3)Delayed sowing and large amounts of rainfall during the rice grouting period caused lower grouting rates and reduced yields.Effective cumulative temperature was the main meteorological factor affecting grain filling and thousand-grain weight.Under the local climatic conditions the treatment of sowing on April 20 has better filling performance, which is conducive to obtaining higher yield and improving the effective cumulative temperature productivity.
