Internet Development and Farmers'Common Prosperity:Analysis of Effects and Differences
Based on the data of CFPS 2020,the entropy method was adopted to measure the common prosperity of farmers from five dimensions including economic level,medical and health level,education level,spiritual prosperity and life security,and the impact of the development of the internet on the common prosperity of farmers was empirically tested.The results show that:First,the development of the internet has a significant positive impact on the common prosperity of farmers,and play a"booster"role in the realization of the common prosperity of farmers.Second,the development of the internet has a differentiated impact on the five dimensions of common prosperity,and shows different degrees of positive impact on the economic level,education level,spiritual prosperity and life security,but the development of the internet has no significant impact on medical health.Third,the development of the internet has a promotion effect of decreasing high scores and regional differentiation on the common prosperity level of farmers,and the promotion effect on the common prosperity level of non-agricultural farmers is more obvious.The conclusion of the study provides a certain reference for the realization of common prosperity through digital technology in the follow-up development.
