Comprehensive Evaluation and Identification Index Screening of Density Tolerance in Rapeseed
A total of 109 rapeseed varieties collected from main producing areas of rapeseed in Jiangxi Province were used as materials, and the genotypic differences of rhizome thickness, plant height, thickness of pod layer, branch number, main inflorescence length, main inflorescence pod number, pod density, pod number per plant, seed number per pod,thousand-seed weight, seed weight per pod,pod peel area per unit, biomass per plant, economic coefficient and yield were investigated under different density conditions. The density tolerance coefficient of each character was used as the index to evaluate the density tolerance of different genotypes of rapeseed by principal component analysis, membership function method, cluster analysis and stepwise regression analysis. The results showed that different genotypes of rapeseed varieties(lines)had different responses to density, and the differences among genotypes were significant. The principal component analysis method was used to synthesize 15 individual indexes into 7 independent indexes, which could represent 86.62%of the original data information. Then, the comprehensive evaluation value(D value)of each variety was obtained by membership function method, and cluster analysis of D value was carried out.The 109 rapeseed varieties were divided into 4 types of density tolerance.A mathematical model was established to predict the density tolerance of rapeseed, and six indexes were selected as identification indexes of density tolerance of rapeseed, including the thickness of pod layer, main inflorescence pod number, seed number per pod,pod peel area per unit, economic coefficient and yield, which had significant influence on the density tolerance of rapeseed.
