Monitoring of Leaf Nitrogen Accumulation and Leaf Area Index of Peanut in Red Soil Based on Portable Apparatus for Crop Growth Monitoring and Diagnosis
Two peanut varieties were used as the research objects, and four nitrogen application levels were set.The quantitative relationship between the dynamic changes of growth indexes and canopy spectral vegetation index of peanut in red soil at different growth stages was analyzed. The canopy spectral vegetation index was collected by portable crop growth monitoring and diagnosis apparatus(CGMD-402)at the key growth stages(seedling stage,flowering-pegging stage, podding stage and pod filling stage),and the aboveground biomass, leaf nitrogen accumulation(LNA)and leaf area index(LAI)of each treatment were measured simultaneously. The monitoring model of LAI and LNA of peanut in red soil based on CGMD-402 was constructed. The results showed that the nitrogen application level affected the growth of peanut plants in red soil, and the aboveground biomass increased with the increase of nitrogen application rate.LNA and LAI increased first and then decreased with the growth process. The normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI)of peanut canopy leaves at flowering-pegging stage and podding stages had good correlation with LAI and LNA,respectively. Therefore, the CGMD-402 could be used to monitor LAI and LNA in peanuts, which provides technical support for precise nitrogen application management of peanut in red soil of Jiangxi Province.
