Differences and Evaluation of Salt Tolerance of Different Cabbage Materials during Germination
The seeds of 55 cabbage germplasms were treated with 0,60,120,180 and 240 mmol/L NaCl solution to study their germination ability under salt stress.Based on the test data of relative germination potential, relative germination rate, relative germination index, and relative salt damage rate of cabbage seeds during germination, the membership function method was used to evaluate and analyze seed salt tolerance. The results showed that with the increase of salt solution concentration, the seed germination ability of tested cabbage was gradually decreased. The relative germination potential, relative germination rate and relative germination index were gradually decreased, and the relative salt damage rate was gradually increased. There were significant differences in salt tolerance among different cabbage materials during germination. There were significant correlations among the four indexes of salt tolerance.Seven materials with strong salt tolerance were selected, among which No.25 cabbage material had the strongest salt tolerance, while No.52 cabbage material had the weakest salt tolerance.
