Impact of New Quality Productive Forces on Agricultural Carbon Emission Intensity
In the background of the"dual carbon"strategy, new quality productive force is an important focus to promote the comprehensive green transformation of economic and social development.Based on the panel data of 30 provinces(autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government)from 2012 to 2021,the impact of new quality productive forces on agricultural carbon emissions was analyzed. The results show that the new quality productive force have a significant inhibitory effect on agricultural carbon emissions. The new quality productive force has significant regional heterogeneity on agricultural carbon emissions, and the emission reduction effect in the eastern and western regions is significant, while the central and northeast regions are not significant. The level of economic development and the ability of scientific and technological innovation play a part of the mediating role in the inhibition of agricultural carbon emissions by new quality productive forces. There is a double-threshold effect on the impact of the development level of new quality productive forces on agricultural carbon emissions. With the improvement of the development level of new quality productive forces, its inhibition effect on agricultural carbon emissions shows the inverted"U"shape change characteristics of"first increasing and then decreasing".Therefore,it is proposed to develop new quality productivity according to local conditions and enable new green models of agricultural development, accelerate scientific and technological innovation in the agricultural field, promote low-carbon transformation and upgrading of agriculture, strengthen the social service system, and promote the decoupling of economic growth from agricultural carbon emissions.
