The Historical Materialism's Connotation of Modern Civilization of the Chinese Nation
The historical materialism provides a good perspective for us to observe the innovation of the dis-course for modern civilization of the Chinese nation.The introduction of the concept of modern civiliza-tion of the Chinese nation not only offers a vivid example for contemplating the practical application of the historical materialism,but also enriches and develops some of the main ideas of the historical mate-rialism,such as the viewpoints on historical inheritance and creation,perspective on world history,the role of science as a lever of history,perspective on historical laws,and the discourses of Marx and En-gels on China.These viewpoints of the historical materialism have gained a new significance within the context of modern civilization construction of the Chinese nation,and have been endowed with new pos-sibilities for theoretical interpretation.Analyzing the connotations of the historical materialism of modern civilization of the Chinese nation will help us to deeply understand the theoretical basis of the historical materialism of the concept of modern civilization of the Chinese nation.
