Carbon Emission Trading System and Enterprises'Green Technology Innovation
Since the reform and opening-up,China has achieved rapid development in economic scale,insti-tutional construction and technological innovation,but it has also faced issues such as resource waste and environmental degradation.As a powerful means of environmental regulation,the carbon emission trading system can offer valuable insights and a basis for improving economic systems,enhancing enter-prise's management and fostering innovation capabilities by studying its impact on green technology in-novation in enterprises.By collecting relevant panel data from A-share listed companies,this study em-ploys the PSM-DID method to empirically analyze the policy effects generated by the carbon emission trading system.The findings indicate that the carbon emission trading system effectively promotes green technology innovation in enterprises.Further,the analysis reveals that the system's impact on green technology innovation varies across enterprises with different ownership structures,industry affiliations and geographic locations,exhibiting notable geographic spillover effects.Based on these findings,the paper proposes recommendations such as improving market mechanisms and strengthening policy sup-port.
