Usability design method of elderly products based on contradiction in TRIZ
In order to effectively solve the conflict issue in the usability design of elderly products,a usability design method for elderly products was proposed by integrating usability and conflict resolution theory.Due to the inapplicability and ambiguity of traditional TRIZ parameters for elderly products,it was difficult to obtain solutions in the usability design of elderly products.Starting from the conflict of usability design of elderly products,the engineering parameters of TRIZ were screened into 26 exclusive usability parameters in the field of usability design for the elderly.Grey correlation analysis was applied to classify the parameters.The conflict matrix was reconstructed from perception layer,cognitive layer and execution layer.The usability design process model for elderly products was established based on conflict resolution theory.The proposed method was applied to the usability design case of the elderly medicine box.The results showed that the proposed method could systematically solve the conflict problems in the usability design of elderly products,and further expand the application fields of the usability design method and TRIZ.
