Analysis on molecular dynamics of lubrication performance of graphene nanoparticles
In this article,in order to explore the castor oil's lubrication performance after the graphene nanoparticles are added, both the knowledge about the molecular dynamics and the LAMMPS simulation software are used to analyze the particle's number density, radial distribution potential function and thermal conductivity. At the same time, the analysis is conducted on the influence of the castor oil mixed with the graphene on the surface morphology after cutting. The simulation and experimental results show that the graphene nanoparticles are lipophilic. The castor oil molecules are distributed in layers around the graphene to form a lubricating oil film. The oil film has good thermal conductivity and compression resistance, and has desirable lubrication effect. The added graphene improves the castor oil's lubrication performance.
