Design of automatic deviation-correcting system of belt conveyor at horizontal bending sections
The long-distance belt conveyors are prone to problems such as belt deviation at natural bending.The main devia-tion-correcting method is to adjust the angle of the idler frame,but at present it mainly relies on manual adjustment.In this arti-cle,an automatic deviation-correcting system is designed,which can adjust the idler frame's groove angle and elevation angle;efforts are made to explore its mechanical structure,control system and sensor selection.In terms of mechanical structure,the roller frame's supporting body,the propulsion device and the lifting device are subject to structure design and calculation.In terms of control system,the control process,the drive and the sensor are subject to design and selection.Finally,both the finite-element analysis and the strength check are conducted on the key components,and the changes of the equivalent stress of the key components with different elevation angles and groove angles are analyzed,which provides theoretical reference for the design of deviation-correcting systems at bending sections.
