During the transportation process of cigarettes at the top of the ZB45 packaging machine's cigarette warehouse,such problems as cigarette breakage,folding,deformation and other quality defects often take place.In this article,in order to solve these problems,an automatic cigarette leveling device is designed in combination with the machine's characteristics.Through the device,the cigarettes transported above the cigarette warehouse are leveled.The cigarettes are flush and fall smoothly in the transportation process.After passing through the leveling device,the cigarettes fall smoothly into the channels arranged in three groups of 7-6-7 in the process of continuous downward conveying,thus avoiding such problems as cigarette deformation,cigarette block,and jam caused by inclination.Thanks to the application of the automatic cigarette leveling device,the number of cigarettes such as folds,deformation and end thread before installation reduces from the average 18.9 cigarettes/shift to the aver-age 3.1 cigarettes/shift,that is to say,the decrease number of 15.8 cigarettes/shift and the decrease rate of 83.6％.The number of equipment shutdown caused by cigarette jam and blockage in the cigarette warehouse reduces from 31.0 times/shift to 6.1 times/shift,that is to say,the decrease number of 24.9 times/shift and the decrease rate of 80.3％.The locomotive efficiency in-creases from 95.3％before the transformation to 96.0％,that is to say,the increasing rate of 0.7％,with high potential to be promoted in the industry.
