Study on anti-pressure ulcer heterotypic air-cell pillow pad and human external pressure sensing method
In order to solve the issues of deficiencies in the design and algorithms of regular air-cell pillows and breathability and stability of thin film pressure sensors attached to the outer surface of the air-cells,an air-cell anti-pressure ulcer pillow pad and a human external pressure sensing method were proposed.The heterotypic air-cell internal pressure and height were measured through the establishment of pressure-height-external load model for irregular-shaped air-cells to realise human external pressure calculation and stability perception,as well as prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers in supine or prone positions.Experi-mental results demonstrated that the external pressure error was 0.85 N,meeting the pressure control precision requirements for in-telligent anti-pressure ulcer pillows.The adoption of human external pressure sensing method eliminated the requirement of pres-sure film sensors,which could create a more comfortable and safe nursing environment for critically ill patients.
