Life prediction for central slewing bearing of loading arm
As the most important handling equipment in the oil transportation at wharf,the stability and reliability of loading arm's operation determines whether the oil can be transported in time.While the slewing bearings are the“heart”of complete loading arm, which are both the oil passage and an important structural component of loading arm to he connected it three coordinate axis ,which quality determines the value and life of the loading arm Therefore, the research on the slewing hearing is of great significance for the safety of loading arm.Taking the central slewing hearing on the loading arm as an object of study,the dynamic life of the slewing bearing is calculated in the light of the calculation method for the life of knuckle bearing and the staic load capacity is tested.The fatigue life of hearing is predicated by applying the strain fatigue method in nSoft based on the finite element stress analysis, which provides some reference volue for the similar strueture design.
