Monte-Carlo Simulation Analysis of Reliability of Urethral Valve Driven by SMA
Urethral valve driven by shape memory alloy(SMA)is an electromechanical device designed for dealing with urethral dysfunction.If it fails in clinical application,it has to be taken out and replaced.In order to study the reliability of urethral valve,this paper establishes the fault tree and reliability mathematical model of urethral valve according to its composition principle.The simulation algorithm of urethral valve is proposed based on Monte-Carlo method and the reliability index of urethral is ana-lyzed.The experiment shows that the algorithm is simple and effective and the failure probability of urethral valve is 0.012 with a lifespan of 10000 times.The algorithm can also provide theoretical guidance for the design of artificial detrusor system driven by SMAto overcome bladder dysfunction.
