Simulation Study of Fuel Injection Parameters on F-T Fischer-Tropsch Fuel Mixture Characteristics
Based on the three-dimensional fluid dynamics software CONVERGE,coupled with Fischer-Tropsch fuel to describe the simplified fuel mechanism,the multi-dimensional combustion numerical simulation model of Fischer-Tropsch fuel engine was established,and the effects of fuel injection parameters on the fuel spray,oil-gas mixing and in-cylinder temperature field of Fisch-er-Tropsch fuel engine under typical working conditions were studied.The results show that due to the characteristics of high cetane value and good ignition performance of Fischer-Tropsch fuel,a certain degree of advance pre-injection timing and main injection timing can promote the atomization and evaporation effect of Fischer-Tropsch fuel,which is conducive to the formation of more uni-form mixture in the combustion retardation period,speed up the combustion and heat release rate,and increase the temperature in the cylinder.Increasing the injection pressure can significantly increase the turbulent kinetic energy of the oil bundle,improve the fuel evaporation rate,and the mixture distribution in the cylinder is more uniform,which is conducive to ignition and rapid heat re-lease.The increase of the pre-injection amount can increase the penetration distance of the oil bundle and the fuel evaporation rate,but it will aggravate the phenomenon of fuel hitting the wall,increase the local over-dense area of the pit in the cylinder,and cause more combustion impact in the ignition stage.The combination of injection parameters such as advanced injection,increased injection pressure and smaller pre-injection amount can improve the combustion process and combustion efficiency of Fischer-Tropsch fuel engine.
