Study on the Uniformity of Coating Thickness Sprayed by Rotating Cup on the Inner of X80 Pipeline Steel
Oil and gas are mostly transported by pipeline,and the corrosion of pipeline inner wall is the main form of failure.Add-ing coating on pipeline inner wall can improve the corrosion resistance of the pipeline.The centrifugal spraying process of X80 pipeline steel inner wall with high-speed rotating cup was carried out.The influence of the key parameters including rotating speed,traveling speed,diameter of rotating cup and feeding pressure on the average thickness and uniformity of coating was stud-ied.Then the spray process parameters were optimized systematically to get the best combination of process parameters.The experi-mental results show that the average thickness of the coating was mainly determined by the rotating speed,feeding pressure,trav-eling speed and outer diameter of the rotating cup.And the uniformity of the coating is mainly determined by the rotating speed and feeding pressure of the rotating cup.When the speed of the rotating cup is 25000r/min,the spraying pressure is 0.2MPa,the moving speed is 0.9m/min,and the outer diameter of the rotating cup is 32mm,the average thickness of the coating is 450.3µm,and the standard difference of the coating thickness is 3.3,the coating with the best uniformity is obtained.The average thickness of the coating is450.3µm,and the standard deviation of the coating thickness is 3.3µm.
