Research of Electric Power Steering System Based on Carsim-Simulink Co-Simulation
As the mainstream configuration of electric vehicles,electric power steering system has an important influence on the steering stability of the vehicle.The electric power steering system of an independent brand electric vehicle was selected as the re-search object.The dynamics of the system were analyzed and subsystem models of simulink were established successively.Accord-ing to the actual vehicle parameters,the linear power assist characteristic curve was designed and input into the above models.Fi-nally,the kinematics model of Carsim/Simulink co-simulation was established and national standard manipulation stability simulation test was carried out.The results show that in the steering wheel steering angle pulse and angle step test,the vehicle with EPS control has better transient responsiveness and handling stability than the vehicle without EPS control.In the steering portability test,the power characteristics of this model is reasonable and has a better power effect.
