A Study of the Performance of the Battery Pack Rubber Seals with Viscoelasticity
The tightness of the rubber seal of the power battery pack is one of the key factors related to the safety of the power sys-tem of new energy vehicles.Rubber material is a typical viscoelastic material, which determines the stress relaxation of rubber seals in the process of use, which may lead to seal failure.Based on the uniaxial compression and stress relaxation experiments of the rubber material, and combine with numerical simulation of ABAQUS,the hyperelastic-viscoelastic constitutive model and the related parameters of the rubber material are determined. The finite element analysis of battery pack seals is carried out.The re-sults show that the contact pressure and Von-Mises stress decrease obviously with the increase of time.Viscoelastic properties of the rubber material have a significant effect on the sealing performance.
