Research on the Influence of Body Parameters on the Rolling Crashworthiness of Platform
Based on the real vehicle test of platform rolling, two kinds of vehicle simulation models of finite element and multi-rigid body were established, and the reliability of the model was verified by comparing the real vehicle test results.Based on the simulation and theoretical analysis, the relationship between the roll angular velocity and the body parameters is studied. It is concluded that the roll angle velocity can be used as an evaluation index to quantify the rollover performance of a vehicle.Through single-factor studies, the basic laws of the influence of various vehicle parameters(center-height height,vehicle-height and vehicle wheelbase)on rollover performance are obtained. The roll angle speed is used as an index, combined with the quadratic regression orthogonal design method and multi-rigid body simulation technology. The empirical formulas between the rolling performance and the vehicle body parameters of the vehicle are constructed to achieve a quantitative analysis between the vehicle parameters and the rollover performance, and the validity of the formula is verified through a regression test and a real ve-hicle comparison test.
