Application of Spatial Statistical in Geometric Deviation Analysis of Complex-Surface
Machined parts with complex-surfaces can be inspected using a coordinate measuring machine(CMM)with high accu-racy.The geometric deviations and distribution of surfaces can also be obtained. The geometric deviation of complex-surfaces basi-cally belongs to spatial data.In this paper, the spatial autocorrelation of geometric deviation of curved-surface was studied by spa-tial statistics, and hot spots and cold spots of geometric deviation were calculated by Getis-Ord Gi*.Machined part with complex-surface was inspected to obtain two groups of geometric deviation data,529 points and 1024 points. The results showed that the spatial autocorrelation reflected by the two groups of data were positive. In addition, the number of measuring points affected the scope of dividing hot spots and cold spots of geometric deviation. The data analysis of geometric deviation of machined parts with complex surfaces will help for machining quality analysis of these surfaces, and improving the machining quality.
