Magnetic Passivation Mechanism and Experimental Research of Double Disk
Passivating the cutting edge of the tool can significantly improve the tool life,in order to explore the influence of mag-netic passivation technology on the cutting edge of the tool.First,design and build a dual-disk magnetic passivation equipment,analyze the basic principle of dual-disk magnetic passivation and the force of unit abrasive grains;Then,through magnetic pas-sivation experiments on ceramic,PCD diamond and cemented carbide tools,The cutting edge is characterized based on the B-spline curve,and the influence of different tool materials on the magnetic passivation is explored through the wear of the cutting edge.Finally,through the orthogonal experiment,the response surface method and the range method are used to analyze the disk rotation speed.Tool speed,disk spacing,passivation time on the influence of cemented carbide tools in dual-disk magnetic passivation.Experiments have found that the relative permeability of the material has a greater impact on the amount of passiv-ation wear.The disk rotation speed is not linearly related to the tool rotation speed.The passivation wear amount increases with the passivation time,and the optimal combination is:disk rotation speed 200r/min,the cutter speed is 45r/min,the disk spacing is15mm,and the passivation time is12min.
