Influencing Factors of Contact Characteristics and Slip Torque of Cylindrical Friction Torque Limiter
In order to promote the application of cylindrical friction torque limiter in the drive system of scraper conveyor,the nu-merical simulation model was established using finite element software ANSYS,the contact pressure distribution of cylindrical friction pair under different oil cavity pressure was simulated and analyzed.The relationship between the sliding torque and oil cavity pressure was got by formula.Finally,the influences of oil chamber length,oil chamber thickness,oil chamber inner diam-eter and contact clearance on the maximum contact stress and slip torque were discussed.Through the orthogonal experiment de-sign,the order of influence of each factor on the maximum contact stress and slip torque were obtained.The results show that through the combination of numerical simulation and orthogonal experimental design,the influence of structural parameters of cylindrical friction torque limiter on the maximum contact stress and slip torque are obtained.The results provide a theoretical ba-sis for the structural design and slip torque prediction of the cylindrical friction torque limiter.
