Reliability and Sensitivity Analysis of Cycloidal Needle Gear Transmission of RV Reducer
Cycloid needle gear meshing transmission is the key factor of high load of RV reducer,and it is also the core structure of RV reducer.In accordance with the tooth profile equation of cycloid gear,a three-dimensional model of cycloid gear is estab-lished in SolidWorks.Using finite element method carries out the transient dynamic analysis of cycloid needle gear,and the maxi-mum equivalent stress and distribution position of cycloid needle gear are obtained.The response surface model of the main param-eters and the maximum equivalent stress of cycloid needle gear are established,the distribution function of the maximum equiva-lent stress of cycloid needle gear and the sensitivity of the main parameters to the maximum equivalent stress are obtained,and the reliability of cycloid needle gear is analyzed.Experimental results show that the maximum equivalent stress occurs at the concave tooth profile of the cycloid needle gear in the meshing transmission process,which is less than the allowable stress of the material and has high reliability.The maximum equivalent stress is most sensitive to the diameter of the needle tooth distribution circle.Providing a theoretical basis for the optimization design and the improvement of reliability of RVreducer.
