Study on the Characteristics of Piezoelectric Energy Harvester with Variable Potential Energy Function Under Parametric Excitation
In this paper,a two degrees of freedom energy harvester with variable potential energy function is proposed.Hamiltoni-an principle is employed to establish the dynamic model of the energy harvester, and kinematics and dynamics of the system is conducted. The results reveal that under the circumstance of resonance, the motion of the outer magnet causes both magnetic force and potential energy to be varied, the magnetic potential energy of the system will traverse a serial magnetic potential energy curves with different shapes, this will result in a greater variation of magnetic potential energy, most of which will change into the elastic potential energy of the beam, and through the study of the energy harvesting characteristics of the system,it is shown that the working bandwidth and the peak rms voltage have been greatly increased,as a consequence, improved the performance of the piezoelectric energy harvester.
