Research on Wheel Rate Nonlinear Behavior of Light Truck
Taking the light truck with less leaf spring front suspension system as the research object,the effects of the leaf spring suspension installation geometric parameters and the joint bushing stiffness on the nonlinear behavior of the suspension stiffness are systematically discussed.First the linear behavior of the leaf spring structural stiffness on the component-level was studied based on leaf spring testing and Adams simulation,and the reliability of the virtual leaf spring structure established by Adams was proved.Then the nonlinear behavior of the suspension stiffness was recognized,and the accuracy of the suspension model es-tablished by Adams was proved based on the system-level K&C test and the benchmarking analysis of Adams simulation results.Finally,the effects of suspension lug angle,lug length,leaf spring installation distance and bushing stiffness on the nonlinear behavior of suspension stiffness were studied by using Adamsvirtual simulation method of the front leaf spring suspension.In addi-tion,the regularity of the nonlinear behavior of the leaf spring suspension stiffness obtained in this paper can optimize and guide the development early work of the leaf spring suspension system.
