Thermal-Force Coupling Simulation of Face-to-Face Angular Contact Ball Bearing Device
In order to simplify the model and facilitate calculation when studying bearings, two bearings in the combined device are generally simplified into one for analysis, which will bring some errors. Therefore,it analyzes the coupling thermal character-istics of two bearings in the combined device of face to face ball bearings.Firstly,it analyzes the friction moment of angular con-tact ball bearing.According to the mixed lubrication mechanism and considering the influence of mixed thermal resistance, the heat generated by the bearing when friction occurs is calculated.Parametric modeling is carried out through the APDL command flow of ANSYS,and a simulation model of the face to face bearing assembly device is established. Then the APDL command flow cycle is used to calculate the temperature field at different times and the thermal expansion induced force at different times of the combined device, and the time-varying coupling characteristics of the preloading force and heat output of the two bearings in the combined device are analyzed. The experimental results show that the proposed model is consistent with the experimental data, which verifies the correctness of the proposed model.
