Study on Pore Control and Mechanical Properties of Ultra-Thin 6061 Aluminum Alloy Plate by Laser Welding
In order to obtain the 6061 aluminum alloy sheet welding seam with less porosity、good forming and good mechanical properties,the lap welding test of 1.2mm thick 6061 aluminum alloy sheet was carried out by YLS-6000fiber laser,The distribu-tion characteristics of porosity in the welds penetration and non-weld penetration pores were studied,measure the radius、circum-ference and area of pores,compare the difference between the Front and back sides of welds;At the same time,The effects law of the average laser power,welding speed and defocusing amount on the porosity of the weld were studied.The Results show that the number of porosity in the weld of 6061 aluminum alloy sheet under penetration is obviously lower than that non-weld penetration,and when the laser poweris too high and welding speed is too fast,are not conducive to inhibit the generation of pores,but when P=2000W laser power,welding speed V=40mm/min、the coke was d=+4mm、can obtain the weld with good shape,less porosity and good mechanical properties.
