Fast Parametric Modeling Method and Performance Analysis of Fractal Channel
For the high temperature structure with long time and high heatfflux,the development of active cooling technology by using the excellent heat transfer and flow characteristics of the fractal channel is an important research topic.The content of this article is to construct a fast parametric modeling method forfractal channels,realize unified fast parametric modeling about the three channel forms of Y,V and T,and carry out the performance analysis of the fractal channel.Firstly,control points are con-structed to determine the position and number of inlets and outlets of flow channels at all levels.Then,the fractal network is con-structed according to the bifurcation position and control points to determine the basic contour of fractal flow channel.Finally,the fractal channel size is obtained,and the parametric models of Y,V and T fractal channels are constructed according to the fractal network and the channel size.The fractal channels with Y,V and T configurations were constructed on fan-shaped and rectangular substrates by using the parametric modeling method,and the heat transfer performance and flow performance were studied by numerical simulation.In this paper,a fast parametric modeling method of fractal channel is constructed,and the effectiveness of this method is verified by numerical examples.Numerical examples show that the V-shaped fractal flow chan-nel has better heat transfer performance,and the Y-shaped fractal flow channel has better flow performance.In addition,com-pared with the rectangular substrate,the fan-shaped substrate that construct with fractal channels has more uniform tempera-ture distribution.
