Numerical simulation and experimental study on the sealing capacity of cemented well interface
In order to solve the flow problem caused by cementation damage at the cementation interface in the process of oil well re-sealing,a self-made experimental device for cementation interface sealing and numerical simulation method are adopted to study the key factors and mechanism of flow triggering at the cementation inter-face.The results show that:the shear damage at the cementing interface is the main cause of cementing interface sealing failure;the higher the interface cementing index(BI),the lower the interlayer pressure difference, the higher the horizontal principal stress, and the lower the damage at the cementing interface, the stronger the seal-ing ability of the cementing interface is.By weighting the influencing factors,it is found that cement ring cemen-tation strength and interlayer pressure difference are the key factors affecting the sealing ability of cementing in-terface.
