MAIN COMPONENTS ANALYSIS OF VOLATILE IN LUBRICATING OIL FOR NAVAL VESSEL AND STUDY ON ACUTE INHALATION TOXICITY
In order to study the toxicity of volatile compounds in a certain type of naval lubricating oil,the composition of its volatile compounds was analyzed, and acute toxicity tests were also conducted. The results showed that the composition of volatile compounds in the lubricating oil remained un-changed at 25,35,45,and 55℃,all of which were 2-methyl-2-propanol,2-butanone,methyl meth-acrylate and toluene. The superoxide dismutase activity(SOD)[(67.28±11.46),(75.09±15.96)U/g],glutathione content(GSH)[(377.36±44.63),(399.18±41.94)μg/g],glutathione peroxi-dase activity(GSH-Px)[(2 971.51±232.12)nmol/g],and serum superoxide dismutase activity[(8.76±2.33)U/mL]in the lung and liver tissues of the poisoned group mice were significantly low-er than those in the control group(P<0.01);The malondialdehyde content in lung and liver tissues[(94.70±13.46),(102.46±19.44)nmol/g],serum alanine aminotransferase levels(ALT)[(65.42±10.26)U/L],aspartate aminotransferase levels(AST)[(64.53±10.63)U/L],and y-glutamyltransferase activity(y-GT)[(50.11±13.24)U/L]were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.01).Pathological examination of the lungs showed significant thickening of the alveolar walls and extensive infiltration of granulocytes in the poisoned group of mice.Acute inha-lation of its volatile substances can cause damage to the lungs and liver of mice.
