DETERMINATION OF TRACE ARSENIC IN NAPHTHA BY GRAPHITE FURNACE ATOMIC ABSORPTION SPECTROMETRY
Trace arsenic in naphtha was directly determined by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry using tetrahydrofuran(THF)as organic solvent to dilute the sample and nickel nitrate Ni(NO3)2 as a matrix modifier. The recovery rate for directly determining arsenic content in naphtha at 0.5-100.0 μg/kg using the standard curve method is(100±5)%,When the arsenic content is be-tween 2-10 μg/kg,the coefficient of variation is less than 5%.The standard working curve of arse-nic shows good linearity with a correlation coefficient of 0.999 2,and can accurately and rapidly deter-mine trace arsenic in naphtha.
