APPLICATION RESEARCH OF GAS CHROMATOGRAPHY-MASS SPECTROMETRY IN THE PETROLEUM INDUSTRY
Starting from the development history of GC-MS technology,this article gives a detailed in-troduction to its application in the field of petroleum analysis,including the identification of organic matter parent materials in upstream oil shale,analysis of downstream product components such as gasoline,lubricating oil,and mineral oil,as well as analysis and prediction of chemical production processes,all of which have achieved significant contribution.In recent years,with the high-end and refined development of petroleum products,GC-MS technology is facing new challenges and opportu-nities.The emergence of a series of new technologies such as rapid GC-MS,GC+GC-MS,GC X GC-MS,and GC-TOF-MS will open up new avenues for upstream and downstream analysis in the future petroleum industry.
