Preparation and properties of a dendritic silicone surfactants
A dendritic silicone nonionic surfactant AGE-PETP-MDH M was prepared from pentaerythritol(PETP),allyl glycidyl ether(AGE)and heptamethyltrisiloxane(MDH M)by epoxy ring opening and hydrosi-lylation reaction. The structure of the product was characterized by Fourier infrared spectrometer(FT-IR).The surface tension, spreading properties, emulsification properties, defoaming properties, solubilization proper-ties and rheological effects on polyether surfactant solution were investigated at 25 ℃.Results showed that the critical micelle concentration(cmc)of AGE-PETP-MDH M was 1.08×10-4 mol/L,the minimum surface tension of water could be reduced to 22.67 mN/m,the contact angle on the paraffin surface was reduced from 53.81° to 43.81°,the emulsification performance was poor, but it had good defoaming performance and solubilization ability, and the viscosity reduction rate of polyether surfactant solution could reach 35.45%.
