Study on the determination method of primary amino con-tent of amino polyether for drilling fluid
As a kind of efficient inhibitor,amino polyether has been used more and more in drilling fluid.However,there are few researches on the physicochemical properties of amino polyethers,especially the deter-mination of the content of amino which plays a key role in inhibition.On the basis of establishing a method for the determination of total amino content,a method for the determination of primary amino content in amino polyether was studied.The feasibility of sodium nitrite titration,Van Slyke gas collecting method and salicylal-dehyde method for the determination of the content of amino polyether primary amino was verified by experi-mental analysis.The influence of the boiling process and the water content in the sample to be measured on the determination result was investigated.The salicylaldehyde method was optimized from the aspects of salicylal-dehyde dosage,curing time and curing temperature.A method for the determination of the content of primary amino in the drilling fluid was established,and the content of primary amino in the different molecular weight and different functional degree of the amino polyether was determined with the mean standard deviation less than 1%.
