低黏高切型白油基钻井液体系优选及应用

普通白油基钻井液体系存在切力和破乳电压较低、高温高压滤失量大等问题,难以满足川渝地区小井眼页岩气水平井钻井顺利施工的需求,通过对比和优化等室内实验,优选出高效乳化剂以提高油包水乳液的乳化稳定性,结果发现:新的钻井液体系的破乳电压(ES)可达1 180 V;优化封堵剂加量以增强钻井液封堵能力,高温高压滤失量降至2.4 mL;优化提切剂加量以提高钻井液动塑比,动塑比为0.250 Pa/(mPa·s),最终形成一套低黏高切型白油基钻井液体系,该体系的切力和破乳电压比普通白油基钻井液的要高,能有效降低高温高压滤失量.进一步对该体系进行相关性能评价,结果表明:低黏高切型白油基钻井液具有抗污染能力强、悬浮稳定性好、高温高压流变性良好等特点.自2022年以来,该钻井液体系在涪陵页岩气水平井中多次应用,能够满足小井眼水平井携岩的需求,而且在高密度条件下流变可控、性能良好,为川渝地区"瘦身井"安全顺利施工提供了有力的技术支撑.
Optimization and application of low viscosity and high cutting white oil base drilling fluid
The problems of low yield point(YP),electrical stability(ES)values and high temperature and high pressure(HTHP)filtration will usually occur in supplying service of ordinary white oil base drilling flu-id,thus it is incapable to meet the need to conduct smooth drilling in slim shale gas wells in Sichuan and Chongqing provinces.To address the complicated issues,with laboratory comparison and optimization experi-ments,optimum emulsifiers were selected to enhance ES value of 1 180 V.Optimized addition of seepage plug-ging agents were utilized to decrease the HTHP filtration,the experiment result was 2.4 mL.Rheological modi-fiers was added in the mud system to boost the YP and the ratio of YP to PV,the experiment result of the ratio of YP to PV was 0.25 Pa/(mPa·s).The formulation of low viscosity and high cutting white oil base drilling flu-id was completed,and then mud properties were evaluated.Results showed that the system had high tolerance of salt and drilling cuttings,good cutting-carrying capacity and HTHP rheological properties.This system had been applied in slim shale gas wells since 2022,it exhibited excellent properties to satisfy the demand of drill-ing in slim shale gas wells.In addition,it was easy to condition and keep favourable rheological properties in high density oil base mud.The low viscosity and high cutting white oil base drilling fluid supplies strong techni-cal support for the slim shale gas wells in Sichuan and Chongqing provinces.
