Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene(UHMWPE)is widely used because of its excellent prop-erties,and is currently in a rapid development stage.In this paper,slurry method,solution method and gas phase method were introduced according to different polymerization conditions.The present situation of produc-tion technology of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene was introduced.The advantages and disadvantages of production technology were compared.The characteristics of its products,applications and market status were introduced,and the development prospects of the production process were prospected.
