Progress in preparation and application of cellulose acetate and its derivatives
In this paper,the manufacturing technology and development history of cellulose acetate were in-troduced briefly.Friendly physical and chemical properties of cellulose acetate were summarized.It indicated that it had great potential for application.The characteristics,production process and market applications of main cellulose acetate derivatives were analyzed.Research had shown that its derivative had good performance and high added value.Furthermore,the technical development of cellulose acetate was discussed from various perspectives including the development of raw material pulp,improvement of manufacturing processes,expan-sion of derivative application,and research on its waste degradation.
