University libraries play an important role in protecting,inheriting,and disseminating red literature.Taking the"Fujian Southwest Red Literature Database"as an example,this article analyzes its construction basis and significance.It discusses its construction practice from the aspects of platform standards,process con-tent,and effect value.It reveals promotional strategies by putting users at the center,technology at the foun-dation,and sharing as the goal.It provides a reference for the construction of a red literature resource data-base in university libraries,which helps to promote the dissemination of red culture,the continuation of red culture,and the inheritance of red genes.
