"Murder mystery"game is essentially a game centered on reading.As a new social favorite of"Generation Z"young people,"offline murder mystery"provides a new form for libraries to carry out youth reading promo-tion work.This article believes that offline murder mystery game has the advantageous conditions to become a youth reading promotion project,and proposes six strategies for libraries to use offline murder mystery game to carry out youth reading promotion work.The library community should seize this opportunity to deeply explore the potential of offline murder mystery activity in the field of reading promotion.
