An Explanation of Missing Article and Poem of Wei Xi
Wei Xi was a master of ancient prose in the early Qing Dynasty and was prolific in his writings.The Wei Shu Zi Wen Ji published by Zhong Hua Book Company in 2003 is the most comprehensive compilation of Wei Xi's poetry and prose available to date,but there are still shortcomings.From various sources such as collec-tions by Qing scholars,local chronicles,and books on calligraphy and painting,Wei Xi's two missing poems and ten missing articles are collected.These writings touch upon various aspects of Wei Xi's life,social cir-cle,and literary thoughts,making them of significant value.This paper adds punctuation and provided anno-tations on the individuals and historical facts mentioned in these writings,aiming to contribute to the study of Wei Xi and the literary scene in Jiangxi during the early Qing Dynasty.
