Research on Digital Humanities from the Perspective of Terminology and Implication for University Libraries
An an emerging inter/cross-disciplinary research field,digital humanities has been widely used in history,literature,musicology,art,linguistics,computational science,information management,librarianship and other disciplines.It has made remarkable achievement but there are few studies on digital humanities from the perspective of terminology.This paper first briefly explains the connotation and application of the per-spective of terminology and illustrates the significance of it on digital humanities research,and then makes an in-depth analysis of the connotation,nomenclature,regulation,translation of several key terms in digital humanities,and further explores the paths to promote digital humanities from the perspective of terminology and finally elucidates the implication for university libraries.
