On the basis of punctuating and perusing the Biyuanshuku Mulu jilve,this paper introduces the four part clas-sification system of the book catalogue in the Biyuan collection house of Weinan Yan family,and summarizes its following characteristics,including communicating the classification structure of the Hanshu Yiwen zhi and the Siku quanshu Zongmu,establishing the classification of the jing part based on the thirteen classics system,adjusting and improving the shi part classification of the Siku quanshu Zongmu,and using the zhuzi and the zhujia to restore the classification framework of the Hanshu Yiwen zhi in the zi part,supplementing the classification system of the Siku quanshu Zongmu in the ji part,being conservative overall,no lack of in-novative consciousness that reflects the times.
