In the 22 basic categories of the Chinese Library Classification,literature is placed in the 9th category,which is further divided into four categories:"literary theory","world literature","Chinese literature",and"litera-ture of various countries.Based on the basic theories,knowledge,and methods of"reading therapy"in Eu-rope and America,this paper focuses on sorting out Qiu Hongzhong's"literary reading and psychological therapy view",evaluates the content value and textual characteristics of his representative works Literary Psychology and Literary Therapy and"Reading(and)Psychological Therapy"series,and believes that they provide valuable literature resources for libraries to carry out"literary reading therapy"with reader univer-sality.
