Bookish Fragrance Nourishes the Heart:Exploration and Innovation of Libraries in the Field of Mental Health:Summary of the 2024 Symposium on"Reading and Mental Health"Organized by the Reading Promotion Working Committee of the Chinese Library Association
2024"Reading and Mental Health"Symposium,sponsored by the Reading Promotion Working Committee of the Chinese Library Association and jointly organized by the Sichuan University Library and the Mental Health Education Center of Sichuan University,was successfully held from October 9th to 11th,2024 at the Library of Arts and Sciences of Sichuan University.This conference organically integrate expert reports,case exchanges,and mental health education scenarios and technology exhibitions,showcasing the latest de-velopments and future trends in the field of reading and mental health from three main directions:new direc-tions and requirements for reading and mental health workers,achievements in the systematic construction of library reading therapy services,and service paths for reading therapy services in libraries.
