Clarifying the realization mechanism of information value from information encountering to innovation is of guiding significance for realizing the transformation of information value from encountering to innovation and cultivating the information literacy of innovative talents.Collect data of people and events that have made important innovative contributions in history,use critical event technology to establish the story line of innovative events,and then use grounded theory method to code and analyze the data.The mechanism model of information value realization from information encountering to innovation was constructed,which shows that from information encountering to innovation achievement,information encountering,information inspection,information correlation with potential information demand,information analysis and evaluation,information tracking,information utilization and innovation achievement were all involved.Each link was closely connected and there is a progressive influence relationship.
