Wencheng involving multiple narratives builds a unique literary geospace while telling the overall story,enriching contemporary novelistic narrative techniques and providing a model for literary geospatial narrative.By examining the literary geospatial narrative in Wencheng from the three perspectives of climate narrative,the interplay between non-fictional and fictional narratives,and spatial narrative,we can see that the distinctive narrative method not only facilitates the innovative structural design of the work but also positively contributes to the blending of a cold narrative with warm life experience,making the work another milestone in Yu Hua's full-length novel creation since the 21st century.Specifically,the climate narrative marks the temporal structure of the work,the interplay between non-fictional and fictional narratives enhances the aesthetic effects of the novel,and the spatial narrative adds value by enabling a broader"aesthetic engagement"with the work.These are worthy of attention from contemporary writers and literary researchers.
