Based on a thorough investigation of the current development status of the rolling lantern cultural heritage in northern Zhejiang,this paper explores the scientific ideas,artistic aesthetic features,and cultural connotations contained therein,highlights its distinct regional characteristics and historical and cultural value,and sorts out the difficulties it faces in protection and inheritance.Against the backdrop of the"No.1 Development Project"to promote digital economy innovation and quality improvement in Zhejiang Province,this paper explores the practical path for digital protection and inheritance of the rolling lantern cultural heritage in northern Zhejiang from five aspects:digital transformation,innovation,display,dissemination,and cultivation.The aim is to use advanced digital technology to better protect and inherit the rolling lantern cultural heritage in northern Zhejiang and promote its sustainable development.
