Among the many versions of Zeng Ji's Chashan Ji,there has been controversy regarding the base version used for the Japanese edition(published by Manjido and Taneyudo).Through comparative analysis of the editions,it is found that the base version of the Japanese edition of Chashan Ji is not the Guangya Book Bureau edition but rather the Juzhen edition printed in Hangzhou. The appearance of the Japanese edition of Chashan Ji along with their proofreading and selection of base version, are also closely related to cultural influences such as Han learning and Chan Buddhism.
