摘要
北美华人学者主要通过文论典籍的译介、诗学话语体系建构以及文本批评三种途径涉及对中国古代诗学范畴的阐释.相异的翻译中不仅可以见出语义理解上的差异,也暗含着译者对同一诗学观念的不同理解,也是华人学者对诗学范畴理解表达的直接方式.在致力中国古代诗学理论体系的建构中,对一些核心的、甚至是具有元范畴属性的诗学范畴进行了深入且丰富的讨论,这些诗学范畴是建构中国古代诗学理论体系的必要基础;借助西方理论方法、论述框架对中国诗学进行再检视,是他们为中国古代诗学观所作的中西沟通.在对具体的文学作品进行批评时,多有以西学理论进行分析的方式,通过异文化的对照,往往能在旧有的诗学范畴中见出新意.
Abstract
North American Chinese scholars primarily interpret ancient Chinese poetic categories through three main approaches:translating poetics,constructing poetic systems,and critiquing literary phenomena.Divergent translations not only reveal differences in semantic understanding but also imply varied interpretations of the same poetic concepts by translators,serving as a direct means for Chinese scholars to express their understanding of poetic categories.In their efforts to construct a theoretical system of ancient Chinese poetics,they delve into detailed and rich discussions of core poetic categories,some of which possess meta-categorical attributes.These poetic categories form the essential foundation for building the theoretical framework of ancient Chinese poetics.By re-examining Chinese poetics through Western theoretical methods and frameworks,they facilitate a dialogue between Chinese and Western poetic theories.When critiquing specific literary works,they often employ Western theories for analysis,and through cross-cultural comparisons,they frequently uncover new insights within traditional poetic categories.
